NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE LOWRY CROSSING CITY COUNCIL WILL HOLD A SPECIAL MEETING AT 7:00 P.M. ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2009 AT LOWRY CROSSING CITY HALL, 1405 S. BRIDGEFARMER  RD, LOWRY CROSSING, TEXAS,  FOR  THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE:

1. Call To Order
2. Pledge
3. Roll Call
4. Closed (executive) session of the City Council pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas Government Code, to conduct a private consultation with its attorney(s) to seek the advice of its attorney(s) about pending litigation, to wit:  Arney v. City of Lowry Crossing, Case No. 4:08-CV-00292, United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas, Sherman Division and/or a settlement offer in connection therewith.
5. Discussion and consideration of any action regarding pending litigation, to wit:  Arney v. City of Lowry Crossing, Case No. 4:08-CV-00292, United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas, Sherman Division, including discussion and consideration of any action regarding a settlement offer in connection with such pending litigation.
6. Adjournment

CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO RECESS TO AN EXECUTIVE (CLOSED) SESSION ON ANY AGENDA ITEM PURSUANT TO:
Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, including:
Section 551.071 consultation with the City’s Attorney
Section 551.072 deliberations regarding real property
Section 551.074 relating to personnel matters
Section 551.076 deliberations regarding security devices or security audits
Section 551.087 deliberations regarding economic negotiations
