NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE LOWRY CROSSING CITY COUNCIL WILL CONDUCT A REGULAR MEETING AT 7:00 P.M. ON TUESDAY, APRIL 7, 2009 AT LOWRY CROSSING CITY HALL, 1405 S. BRIDGEFARMER  RD, LOWRY CROSSING, TEXAS,  FOR  THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE:

 

  1. Call To Order
  2. Pledge
  3. Roll Call
  4. Discussion and consideration of approval of Minutes of the Lowry Crossing City Council –  February 12th Special Meeting, March 3rd Meeting and March 26, 2009 Public Hearing.
  5. Approval of Consent Items: Financial Statement and Permits for March 2009
  6. Presentation by Citizens
  7. Recognition of Individuals by Mayor and Council
  8. Public Hearing to receive comments on the division of property between City Hall and the Lowry Crossing Volunteer Fire Department.
  9. New Business:

(A)          Discussion, consideration, and action of re-platting the property dividing City Hall and the Fire Department into two separate properties.

(B)          Action to adopt Ordinance 207 amending the FY2009 budget. 

(C)          Discussion, consideration, and action of adopting the 2009 FEMA Ordinance 208.

(D)          Discussion, consideration, and action of adopting an Ordinance #209 on fireworks limits and/or requirements within the city. 

  1. Update from and discussion with Fire Code Enforcer regarding fire code and fire related matters.
  2. Update from and discussion with City Secretary regarding matters pertaining to the office of City Secretary.
  3. Adjournment

CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO RECESS TO AN EXECUTIVE (CLOSED) SESSION ON ANY AGENDA ITEM PURSUANT TO:

Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, including:

Section 551.071 consultation with the CityÕs Attorney

Section 551.072 deliberations regarding real property

Section 551.074 relating to personnel matters

Section 551.076 deliberations regarding security devices or security audits

Section 551.087 deliberations regarding economic negotiations
