NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE LOWRY CROSSING CITY COUNCIL WILL CONDUCT A REGULAR MEETING AT 7:00 P.M. ON TUESDAY, MAY 19, 2009 AT LOWRY CROSSING CITY HALL, 1405 S. BRIDGEFARMER  RD, LOWRY CROSSING, TEXAS,  FOR  THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE:

  1. Call To Order
  2. Pledge
  3. Roll Call
  4. Discussion and consideration of approval of Minutes of the Lowry Crossing City Council –  April 7, 2009 Meeting.
  5. Approval of Consent Items: Financial Statement and Permits for April 2009
  6. Presentation by Citizens
  7. Recognition of Individuals by Mayor and Council
  8. New Business:
      1. Discussion, consideration, and action on accepting the canvass of the May 9, 2009 Election.
      2. Receive outgoing council/mayor comments.
      3. Statement of elected officers to be given to newly elected mayor and council members. 
      4. Oath of office to be administered to newly elected mayor and council members.
      5. Discussion, consideration, and action of permitting a mobile business on Hwy 380. 
  1. Update from and discussion with Fire Code Enforcer regarding fire code and fire related matters.
  2. Update from and discussion with City Secretary regarding matters pertaining to the office of City Secretary.
  3. Adjournment

 

CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO RECESS TO AN EXECUTIVE (CLOSED) SESSION ON ANY AGENDA ITEM PURSUANT TO:
Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, including:
Section 551.071 consultation with the City’s Attorney
Section 551.072 deliberations regarding real property
Section 551.074 relating to personnel matters
Section 551.076 deliberations regarding security devices or security audits
Section 551.087 deliberations regarding economic negotiations
