NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE LOWRY CROSSING CITY COUNCIL WILL CONDUCT A REGULAR MEETING AT 7:00 P.M. ON TUESDAY JUNE 2, 2009 AT LOWRY CROSSING CITY HALL, 1405 S. BRIDGEFARMER  RD, LOWRY CROSSING, TEXAS,  FOR  THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE:

  4. Discussion and consideration of approval of Minutes of the Lowry Crossing City Council – May 19, 2009 Meeting.
  5. Approval of Consent Items: Financial Statement and Permits for May 2009
  6. Presentation by Citizens
  7. Recognition of Individuals by Mayor and Council
  8. New Business:
      1. Discussion, consideration, and action on appointing a City Secretary.
      2. Administer Oath of Office to City Secretary.
      3. Discussion, consideration, and action to elect a Mayor Pro Tem. 
      4. Discussion, consideration, and action to elect a Treasurer.
      5. Discussion, consideration, and action on City Hall maintenance needs.
      6. Discussion, consideration, and action on City maintenance and safety needs.
      7. Update on roads with discussion, consideration, and action to approve estimates and timelines for repairs.
      8. Discussion, consideration, and action to appoint Aaron Heitman as Fire Code Enforcement Officer effective July 1, 2009.
      9. Discussion and consideration of scheduling a special session to work with the LCVFD on the property transfer documents.
      10. Discussion, consideration, and action of adopting an Ordinance #209 on fireworks limits and/or requirements within the city. 
      11. Discussion, consideration, and action of permitting a mobile business on Hwy 380.
      12. Discussion, consideration, and action of scheduling work sessions.
      13. Update on the 2007 audit progress and beginning process on 2008 audit.
  1. Update from and discussion with Fire Code Enforcer regarding fire code and fire related matters.
  2. Update from and discussion with City Secretary regarding matters pertaining to the office of City Secretary.

CITY COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO RECESS TO AN EXECUTIVE (CLOSED) SESSION ON ANY AGENDA ITEM PURSUANT TO:
Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, including:
Section 551.071 consultation with the City’s Attorney
Section 551.072 deliberations regarding real property
Section 551.074 relating to personnel matters
Section 551.076 deliberations regarding security devices or security audits
Section 551.087 deliberations regarding economic negotiations
