NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE LOWRY CROSSING CITY COUNCIL WILL CONDUCT A REGULAR MEETING AT 7:00 P.M. ON TUESDAY AUGUST 11, 2009 AT LOWRY CROSSING CITY HALL, 1405 S. BRIDGEFARMER  RD, LOWRY CROSSING, TEXAS,  FOR  THE FOLLOWING PURPOSE:

  4. Discussion and consideration of approval of Minutes of the Lowry Crossing City Council – July 7, 2009 Meeting.
  5. Approval of Consent Items: Financial Statement and Permits for July 2009
  6. Presentation by Citizens
  7. Recognition of Individuals by Mayor and Council
  8. Update from and discussion with Fire Marshall regarding fire code and fire related matters.
  9. Update from and discussion with City Secretary regarding matters pertaining to the office of City Secretary.
  10. New Business:

(A)          Action on Schroeder resignation.

(B)          Discussion, consideration and action regarding appointment of open council eat.

(C)          Presentation of 2007 and 2008 Audits by Wayne Nabors of Pingleton, Howard and Company.

(D)          Discussion, consideration and action to adopt Ordinance 209 regarding fireworks limitations.

 (F)      Discussion, consideration and action regarding FEMA funds directed to road repairs.

(G)          Discussion, consideration, and action on approval of Independent Health Inspector Consulting Agreement.

(H)          Discussion, consideration, and action on approval of Interlocal Agreement for Animal Control and Animal Shelter Services with Collin County.

(I)            FY2010 Budget work session.

(J)            Discussion, consideration and action regarding approval of Municipal Clerks Seminar in August for City Secretary Certification Program

Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, including:

Section 551.071 consultation with the CityÕs Attorney

Section 551.072 deliberations regarding real property

Section 551.074 relating to personnel matters

Section 551.076 deliberations regarding security devices or security audits

Section 551.087 deliberations regarding economic negotiations
