SPECIAL JOINT MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING BETWEEN THE LOWRY CROSSING CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION ON AUGUST 16, 2005, AT 7:00 P.M. AT MILLIGAN’S WATER SUPPLY LOCATED AT 1400 S. BRIDGEFARMER ROAD, LOWRY CROSSING, TEXAS.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Lowry Crossing, Texas City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City will meet in a special joint meeting and public hearing to be held on the date and at the time and location set forth above for the following purposes:

1. Call to Order.

2. Pledge

3. Roll Call

A) City Council

B) Planning and Zoning Commission

4. Public Hearing: Joint Public Hearing of the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission regarding certain proposed amendments to Section 27 (regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission) of Ordinance No. 110, the Zoning Ordinance of the City, concerning the method or process for selecting the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission, term length and term limits for Planning and Zoning Commission members, and other changes thereto.

5. Consideration and recommendation by the Planning and Zoning Commission regarding an Ordinance amending Section 27 (regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission) of Ordinance No. 110, the Zoning Ordinance of the City, concerning the method or process for selecting the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission, term length and term limits for Planning and Zoning Commission members, and other changes thereto.

6. Consideration by the City Council of an Ordinance amending Section 27 (regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission) of Ordinance No. 110, the Zoning Ordinance of the City, concerning the method or process for selecting the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission, term length and term limits for Planning and Zoning Commission members, and other changes thereto.
