We offer country living within minutes of  McKinney and Princeton. Located in the heart of Collin County, Lowry Crossing is situated in the rolling hills above the East Fork of the Trinity River. 

With farming community roots, Lowry Crossing was originally established as a town in 1971 and has grown to more than 1,200 residents. 
We have all the essentials of country community life and a welcoming spirit!

City Council Election Results 2008

Congratulations to Shirley Tabor, Willard Bailey and Natalie Schroeder who have been elected to the Lowry Crossing City Council. They will officially take office at midnight on Friday, May 16th and serve on the Council for the next two years. 

 The election results are as follows:

  •  Shirley Tabor – 109 votes

  • Willard Bailey – 88 votes

  • Natalie Schroeder – 94 votes

  • Dan Arney – 43 votes

Tax Levy Notice

This year’s tax levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year’s maintenance and operations tax levy. Also, this year’s M&O tax rate is higher than the effective maintenance and operations tax rate. The following statements must be included on the home page of any Internet website operated by Lowry Crossing:
Lowry Crossing ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE.  THE TAX RATE WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $0.00. - Eddie Sturgal, TRMC City Secretary

 


City Meetings

The regular meetings of the City Council are scheduled to be held on the first Tuesday of each month. The meetings are conducted at the City Hall on Bridgefarmer Road.  Click here to view the agenda index (or use the 'Meeting Agenda' button at left.)

The Planning and Zoning Commission are scheduled as needed, per the direction of City Council.  The meetings are conducted at the Milligan Water Department.

The Board of Adjustments meets at the Milligan Water Department on an as-needed basis.  Notices are published on this website.


All are welcomed and encouraged to attend these public meetings.
